Henia Hotel - Dumaguete City

Very nice eats nearby! Just a short stroll to Jhakart Cafe for fab Filipino dishes or Chef Tobz for some savory bites. The breakfast here was a simple, yet hearty treat that got my mornings off to a good start. Plus, the room had everything I needed for a comfy stay.

Initially, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, and despite requesting a room transfer, none were available, forcing me to endure heavy air freshener fumes. The bathroom was particularly concerning. It was noticeably dirty with poorly finished grouting, and I noted that amenities like bottled water weren't provided as advertised, along with missing towels and soap upon check-in.

Don't overlook this gem! With spacious family rooms and friendly staff, I was catered to in every need, even receiving prompt assistance for my daughter's medication. The location is surprisingly convenient, just a short 500-meter stroll to the beautiful boulevard. The breakfast options, including the good Filipino dishes, elevated my mornings.

Henia is a cozy spot with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Location is fantastic, just a short walk to pasta king and other attractions. Their fast wifi. It's also close to activities like red rock hot spring, a bonus!

The staff was accommodating, especially appreciated were the light snacks offered . The bed mattress might not suit everyone's preference, as it felt quite firm, and the location, while near amenities, wasn't as convenient for certain activities. While the check-in was smooth, some might benefit from more detailed guidance on local attractions.

The staff were helpful, arranged an airport shuttle. And the breakfasts offered a good variety, including local favorites. Spacious family room, with easy access to a vibrant market and local parks.

The location was perfect, across from a public market and close to everything you need. The room was spacious and had everything, fridge, table, and even a hot water kettle. Breakfast was decent but the local food they offered in the morning was a nice touch!

Friendly staff, comfortable room, who responded quickly to our needs and provided in-room breakfast to start the day right, along with easy access to a nearby airport for convenience.

It was just a balanced option for a brief visit in Dumaguete City with extraordinarily good value for money. The bathroom amenities provided on the first day were quite good, but it was disappointing that they weren't replenished properly after that. Bring your own toiletries to avoid any surprises.

Great location next to a shopping mall and in close proximity to the airport, Ayala Mall, and restaurants along the baywalk. the family room was impressive with good air conditioning, climate control, a private safe, and a flat-screen TV.
